This app is made and run by Gatheratt, and Gatheratt is responsible for the personal data described here — not the event host.

What is stored

An anonymous id in this browser, which sessions you saved with it and when, and the link if you chose to share your schedule. No name, no email, no account. We don’t build a profile of what you browse — though our servers keep ordinary access logs, as every web server does.

If meetings are open for this event and you book one, or are invited to one, the meeting is stored as well: the attendee identifiers of the people in it, when it is, and at which table. Names are never stored. Meetings are deleted 90 days after the event ends, and you can decline or cancel one on the Meetings tab while the event app is open.

If you write a message with a meeting request, with your answer to one, or later on the meeting’s page, the message is stored with the meeting and shown to the two of you on the meeting’s page. A message sent with a request or an answer is also put in the email about the meeting; messages sent later are not. All of them are deleted with the meeting, 90 days after the event ends.

If messages are open for this event and you write to another attendee, the conversation is stored with the attendee identifiers of the two of you, and shown to the two of you only — not to the event host. Messages are kept for as long as this event app exists.

When something happens to one of your meetings — an invitation you send or get, an answer, a cancellation — a notification is stored for you: which meeting, what happened and when, and whether you have seen it. No names or text. Notifications are deleted with the meetings, 90 days after the event ends.

Each time you sign in, we record it automatically: when, and whether you had access to this event. No name, e-mail address or IP address. We keep sign-ins for security and support, and they are deleted automatically 90 days after the event ends.

Why

So the sessions you pick survive a page load, and are still there when you pick your phone up again later in the event — and so a meeting you agreed to is still on both of your phones when it is time to meet.

Legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)): what you save or choose here, you asked for yourself and can delete yourself at any time. The data is minimal, and nothing is profiled across services.

How long

It is deleted automatically 90 days after the event ends. The id in this browser expires by itself as well.

What the event host sees

Nothing about you as a person. The host sees their own event data; your saved sessions and your meetings are not passed on as a record of you.

Delete it now

“Forget my schedule on this device” — here, or on the Profile tab — removes everything this browser saved straight away. It cannot be undone, and the button only appears when there is something to delete.
